- Data compatibility (DXA 2 must work on DD4T 2 published JSON)
- Code compatibility (.NET) (DD4T 2 interfaces must be supported on R2 JSON)
- Code compatibility (Java) (DD4T 2 interfaces must be supported on R2 JSON)
- Template compatibility (classes based on the DD4T 2 base templates must continue to work)
